Nicki Minaj is preparing to share her new single, “Love In The Way” featuring Bleu, this Friday. On Wednesday afternoon, the chart-topping star unveiled the first snippet for the single.
“You blew it, I could tell you knew it/But you was like ‘Screw it,’ and I guess I’m fluid/’Cause I was like, ‘F*ck you and them b*tches included’/’Cause I was goin’ through it, ain’t nothin’ more to it,” she sings.
“Baby, your love in the way/But don’t stop it, just keep doin’ what you do/How could I move with your love in my way?/It hurts to love again, and it’s all because of you,” Bleu adds.
“Love In The Way” serves as the follow-up to last month’s “Super Freaky Girl.” The Rick James-inspired party performed well and became the first Hip-Hop single by a Black woman to top the Billboard Hot 100 in more than 20 years. Alongside its release, Nicki Minaj attended the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards and accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. “Do We Have A Problem?” featuring Lil’ Baby also took top honors in the “Best Hip-Hop” category.
Finishing out the summer strong, Nicki Minaj is set to headline Rolling Loud in her hometown next weekend at Citi Field. Until then, check out the first snippet for “Love In The Way” by Nicki Minaj featuring Bleu.
