Nicki Minaj is enjoying a great summer run. Within the last few weeks, she’s picked up the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and reunited on stage with Drake and Lil’ Wayne. Not to mention, she’s set to take the stage at Rolling Loud in her hometown of New York next week. With all of that going on, Nicki Minaj has still found her way into the studio. Fresh off of collaborations with Fivio Foreign and Lil’ Baby, the New York native has teamed up with Bleu for a new single called “Love In The Way.”
The uptempo, sampled beat serves as the canvas while Bleu and Nicki Minaj paint a picture of a relationship that has been damaged by deceit. Still, they can’t seem to get their minds off of what was and move on to the next opportunity for love.
“Baby, your love in the way/But don’t stop it, just keep doin’ what you do/How could I move with your love in my way?/It hurts to love again, and it’s all because of you,” Bleu sings.
“‘Cause baby, your love in the way/I need you right now, why would you push me away?”
