Nene is expected to be back with the Wizards next season, and will once again be a huge factor in their ability to make it further into the playoffs. The Wizards need Nene to continue to be a big body down in the paint to dominate some of the best bigs in the league.
Marcin Gortat has seen a significant improvement in his game ever since he was traded to Washington to make up the new frontcourt, and the reason is obvious. Nene was another big inside he could work with, and the two have paired up to make a vicious frontcourt that can help bring the young ones to the promise land of the postseason.
