Even after the season ended for the Wizards, they have to understand and see how much they improved over the past season, and Nene understands just how much growth this team experienced. Nene was traded to Washington back in 2011, and the team has improved every season since he came to the nation’s capitol from Denver. He has seen first hand how much the team as a whole has improved, as well as how much players have improved from year to year.
“If you look at all we conquered this season, there’s definately improvement.”
The Wizards have to be proud for what they accomplished, even though they did not complete the ultimate goal of winning a championship. The team and players will continue to grow, and the Wizards will come back even better next season. Once again, Nene will see more improvements, and the team may finally be able to get him his first ring
