*Grabs bag of water balloons & water gun* Let the fun begin..
The Summer is the time of the year everyone looks forward to especially those who reside in NYC. Considering New York City is the city that never sleeps, the Summer time proves that sentiment to be correct as there is always something to do.
WordSmiff, Fia and ReQ Cartier come together for some classic ol’ fun in their video for ‘Welcome To The Summer’.
As WordSmiff states in the beginning he wants to take us back to Brooklyn for this one and thats what he did. Taking us through a classic water fight, chilling with friends and occasional sips of the brown water (Hennessy), this is the epitome of what are some things to expect on a nice chill day in NYC.
Like I said there is always something to do. Even if it includes just strolling through a park, talking to females or taking part in a pick up game of basketball, no such thing as being bored in New York City.

The visual, directed by @FunnyJulius, fits the theme of the song vividly. It looks like WordSmiff and ReQ Cartier, who are prepping to release their joint project ‘Brooklyn’s Finest’ have the formula of song making with accompanying visuals mastered. If you need more proof check out their latest video in ‘Young Gods‘ and stay tuned for more to come, as WordSmiff premiered the DJ Mustard produced ‘I’m On It’ on Word Of Mouth Radio during his interview.
