Brooklyn’s own, Trey aka WordSmiff has been doing his thing as of late.
If you haven’t taken notice by now let me give you guys a brief run down. Currently on his third project with Bars Over Everything III: The Goodfella, we have seen two prior pieces of work in Bars Over Everything and Bars Over Everything 2: The Savior.
All three, respectively generating quite the buzz for the up and coming NYC artist.
While his first single off of BOE III, ‘Go Dumb‘ which features Tray Pizzy received positive reviews, that was also his very first visual for the project and the hard hitting track was accompanied by a video which did the song even more justice.
Today, WordSmiff is back with a new visual for his second single and my favorite song off BOE III, ‘Live From The City’. Off the back when I heard the track it got hit with a plethora of fire emojis. LOL.
Not only is it my favorite track, WordSmiff tapped into my favorite movie, ‘House Party’ for the inspiration for the video. Classic NY feel if you ask me and you can’t do anything but want to ‘Get ‘Lite’.
Check out the ‘Live From The City’ video below and expect from here on to see more of WordSmiff music at Def Pen Radio.
