Directed by Solange herself, the Houston artist enlists producers, Alan Ferguson, John Bogaard, Nic Neary, Alec Eskander, and Gina Harrell. The video takes Solange back to her Houston roots offering minimalist aesthetics channeling Afro-futuristic themes.
Although rapper Playboi Carti delivers on the song, his absence from the video does not diminish the effect. Featuring Black cowboys, intricate hairdos, distinct choreography and clips from personal video footage.
