As of today, we’re still short of the one week mark since the release of Kendrick’s third studio album, DAMN. Met with many hits of love and reviews from almost anyone with a mouth, the album has been the center of plenty conversations. On track for a no. 1 debut atop of the Billboard 200, Kendrick is ensuring that the momentum doesn’t slow down any time soon as the rapper premieres the music video for “DNA.”
Already a fan-favorite on the album due to Kendrick’s raw appeal and switch midway through the track, the supporting visual only takes it all to new heights. Equipped with some cameos of some familiar faces, the “DNA” music video is everything and more that it needed and should have been. Perhaps its greatest moment comes with the rapper going bar for bar with the one and only Don Cheadle. Only catapulting our love for the track, Kendrick’s moment is a pleasure to be apart of.
