After years and years of waiting to see and hear what Adele would come up with next, the singer has officially marked her return with her new single, ‘Hello.’ Just yesterday, the singer wasted no time announcing the followup of her second studio album 21. Titled 25, Adele penned an open-letter that convey that the new LP would reflect on her past experiences and relationships, and more importantly, be a make-up record to and for herself. Now, giving us the first taste of the album, Adele has premiered the first official single from the album.
‘Hello’ is just what you would expect and want for an Adele comeback. Sung with conviction and strong emotion, Adele belts out the record’s chorus and sings, “Hello from the other side, I must’ve called you a thousand times to tell you I’m sorry, for breaking your heart.” To break it down easy, prepare to feel some wave of sadness, even for a few seconds, as Adele mightily cries out. Premiering alongside the accompanying visual, Adele keeps things simplistic but interesting in the nature-filled music video.
