The Great Debaters
Made in 2007, this movie was actually produced by none other than Oprah Winfrey herself. It was also directed by Hollywood legend, Denzel Washington. The movie is based on the true-life story of Melvin B. Tolson. It is about a professor who gave his own students inspiration and motivation, leading them to become the first black debate team to go into the debating championships and face-off against prestigious Harvard.

Dramatic, lighthearted, and fascinating, this 2010 movie was a huge box-office hit when it was released. It is based upon the story of Mark Zuckerberg, the co-creator of Facebook, and follows his transition from a Harvard University student to the mastermind behind the biggest social network on the planet. The Breakfast Club
This movie has become a true classic for students, teens, and older viewers who are looking for a feel-good yet inspirational movie. There are tears, laughter, heartwarming moments, and a rollercoaster of emotions. The 1985 movie is about a group of very different students from a variety of backgrounds who are all put into detention together.
