Despite all the hype and anticipation, Fantastic Four fell short this weekend at the box office.
The film came in second while Mission: Impossible kept it’s hold on the number one spot.
The Tom Cruise-starring action flick earned another week at number one with $29m, while Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four debuted at number two with $26m.
Joel Edgerton’s The Gift debuts at three with $12m, as Vacation falls to number four and Ant-Man rounds out the top five.
