Actor Mike Colter has landed a key role alongside Gerard Butler in the upcoming thriller, The Plane. Directed by Jean-François Richet, the film stars Gerard Butler as Brodie Torrance, a courageous pilot who managed to safely crash land his plane on a deserted island. After landing, Torrance hopes to maintain control of the situation after a group of pirates threatens his passengers and plane. In the midst of all the chaos, Colter will play Louis Gaspare, an ex-military man being extradited to Canada on charges of homicide when the plane crash lands.
“Mike is an exciting addition to the film. Anyone familiar with his work knows he is a charismatic talent and a formidable force and we’re thrilled to have him board The Plane,” Richet said about Colter joining the film.
There is no release date for the film yet, but production will begin later this month in Puerto Rico.
