Miguel is back! Six years removed from his latest studio album, War & Leisure, the R&B singer has set the release date for his next single, “Give It To Me.” Available for pre-save now, he highly-anticipated single is set to be released next week.
As mentioned, Miguel has not released a studio album since 2017’s War & Leisure. The project includes singles like “Sky Walker” and “Come Through And Chill” along with contributions from J. Cole, Travis Scott, Salaam Remi, Rick Ross and Kali Uchis. The singer’s fourth studio album landed in the top 10 during its first week of release and has earned a gold plaque from the RIAA since.
Miguel hasn’t delivered an LP in years, but he’s been around. Aside from viral videos of him singing SZA tracks, he’s released two EPs, Art Dealer Chic and Te Le Lo Dije. Not to be forgotten, one of his early hits, “Sure Thing,” has taken on a new life through TikTok. As a result, Miguel’s team has re-released the track along with a few sped-up versions of the track.
At this time, it is unclear if “Give It To Me” will lead to a new project, but one can hope. Until then, fans can check out this quick video from the singer before he returns with his musical gifts next week.
