Will Smith may be out promoting his latest feature, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, but Michael B. Jordan is already thinking about what Smith’s next feature may look like. During a recent conversation with People, the Newark, New Jersey native talked about how his project with Smith, I Am Legend II, was progressing.
“We’re still working on the script and getting that up to par,” Jordan said.
“It doesn’t have a release date or anything like that. I’m not sure exactly where we’re going to be filming that one, but I’m really excited to get in front of the camera with him. Being somebody that I’ve looked up to for a really long time, to be able to work with Will is something I’m really looking forward to. I’m really excited.”
In the meantime, Jordan will turn his focus toward his latest partnership with Propel Fitness Water. As part of the Propel Your City Project, the Newark native is working with the beverage company to giveaway $10,000 towards fitness memberships and launch pop-up fitness hubs in Newark, Atlanta, Houston and Los Angeles this summer.
“My fitness journey started on the basketball courts in Newark and the progress I’ve made since then comes from a combination of learning from the best and moving alongside my team,” Jordan said.
“With the Propel Your City Project, we’re trying to help more people find that winning mix in their community to drive them forward.”
Kicking of this summer of wellness, free “Propel Your City” fitness classes will be available in ewark, Atlanta, Houston and Los Angeles will be held on Saturday, June 8. As for I Am Legend II, there’s no release date in the works just yet.
