Actress Mia Goth will reportedly join the cast of Marvel’s Blade. Goth is the latest star to join the film led by Mahershala Ali, but it is unclear as to what role she will play in the film.
Goth is a 29-year-old film and television star who won her first Independent Spirit Award in 2022. The London native earned her first film and television credits back in 2013 with appearances in Nymphomaniac and The Tunnel. Since then, she has appeared in a number of projects, including The Survivalist, Emma, Mayday, The High Life, Everest, A Cure for Wellness and The Staggering Girl. Most notably, she has broken into the mainstream with roles in X and The Pearl. Moving forward, she is set to appear in MaXXXine.
“We’re all so excited,” Goth said about the forthcoming film.
Details regarding the plot of Blade remain unclear. However, the film has landed a release date. Following Thunderbolts and Captain America: New World Order, Blade will hit theaters in September 2024 as one of seven Marvel films set to hit theaters that year.
