Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed that her second studio album is complete. After being nominated for three awards at the 2022 Video Music Awards, the Houston native took to Instagram to announce that she is ready to put forth the follow-up to her 2020 debut, Good News.
“It’s finished. It’s for the hotties, It’s honest, it’s me. It’s real,” she wrote on Instagram.
Megan Thee Stallion has been building up to the release of her sophomore album throughout the spring and summer. Not long ago, she performed at the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Life and delivered a new single called “Plan B.” She’s also delivered a new single with Future called “Pressurelicious” and dropped a collaboration with Dua Lipa.
Moving forward, the Houston native is prepared to share a new single with Murda Beatz and perform on Good Morning America. There is no release date set for Megan Thee Stallion’s latest LP, but fans can savor this good news until the time comes for the full rollout.
