Megan Thee Stallion graduated from college last week and she’s taking her career to the next level this week. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the college graduate has landed a first-look deal with Netflix. Through this deal, she will produce a “new series” and work on “other projects.”
“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix,” she said in a press statement.
“Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch.”
Megan Thee Stallion is known primarily as a musician, but she has experimented with film and television over the last year. She has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Saturday Night Live, Good Girls and Legendary.
“Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture. She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for this next chapter in her journey,” Netflix’s Head of Comedy Tracey Pakosta added.
