Megan Fox will star in James Franco‘s adaptation of Steve Erickson’s novel Zeroville.
Franco will be directing and starring in the film as a film-obsessed man who arrives in Hollywood in 1969, as the studios are a midst decline and independents are rising.
As the world around him takes a cultural change to sex, drugs and music, he scores his dream job of being a film editor, who comes across a gang of characters from former stars, political bad guys, burglars and other filmmakers.
Fox will be playing a Hollywood starlet with a very troubled past who becomes the obsession and love interest to Franco’s character.
The movie also stars Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Craig Robinson, Will Ferrell, Jacki Weaver and Horatio Sanz.
Zeroville is being shot in Los Angeles and does not yet have a release date.
