Mary J. Blige is preparing for a major return in the month of February. Kicking off the month, the legendary singer will join Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg for the Super Bowl LVI halftime show. One week later, the New York native will deliver her new album, Good Morning Gorgeous. To close out the month of January, Mary J. Blige shared the Good Morning Gorgeous track list. With contributions from Usher, Anderson .Paak, Fivio Foreign, DJ Khaled, Dave East and more, Good Morning Gorgeous promises to live up to the hype.
“Wait till you hear it, it’s gonna blow everybody’s mind,” she told Tamron Hall when asked about her new album.
“And it’s because it’s something I had to do, and something I had to say when I was in my darkest, darkest moments in that life, to build myself up to this person that I can see and accept my nose, accept my eyes, accept my cheeks, accept all the things that I used to hate.”
