While giving an interview to MTV about her new film, ‘I, Tonya‘, Margot Robbie shared that she is developing her own version of the much-discussed ‘Harley Quinn’ spin-off film.”‘I’ve been working on a separate spinoff Harley thing for a while.” Said Robbie. Which I believe brings the total count of in development DC films to over 643. Robbie’s idea, according to her own words, would focus on Harley’s ‘Girl Gang’. This idea sounds vaguely similar to the ‘Gotham City Sirens’ concept but it still isn’t quite the same since there’s no mention of any males taking part in the story (which there probably shouldn’t be, too be honest). There’s no real word on which of the rumored 4 spinoff’s will materialize first, but let’s hope we see some more from Harley sooner rather than later.
We’ve attached the interview and Margot Robbie’s quotes in full below.

“There’s a lot going on right now and I’m not sure. I, honestly, I don’t think anyone knows what’s going to be the next thing to happen. But I think everyone’s keen to get Harley back on screen, so everyone is working on lots of different versions of what that could be.” Via MTV
“I wanna see her with other women. I was like, I kept saying it we were shooting Suicide Squad. I was like, ‘she needs her girlfriends. She needs other girls around her because she loves that.’ You’ve seen it in the comics. You’ve seen that she loves meeting people, any people, but she needs a little girl gang.” Via MTV
