Lizzo earns a performance spot on the TODAY show 2019 Citi Concert series this summer.
The annual series officially launched their 2019 performances on May 6 with an appearance from Jennifer Lopez. Although the shows are free of charge, entry is based on earning a fan pass through an application available on the official website.
Described as a digital lottery system, attendance will be first come, first served to those without the passes.
“A limited number of Fan Passes are available by advance request via a digital lottery system. Guests who receive the Fan Pass will be notified by email about one week prior to the scheduled concert date. Each Fan Pass is valid for two guests. Please note admission is not guaranteed unless guests follow all Fan Pass instructions and arrive to check in by 6 a.m. Passes are nontransferable. ID is required at check-in.”
2019 shapes up to be a huge year for Lizzo’s career. Her album Cuz I Love You released with a sold-out tour. Lizzo also recently joined the cast of upcoming film Hustlers alongside Cardi B, Keke Palmer and more. She also holds a 2019 BET Award nomination for ‘Best Female Hip Hop Artist.’
