Prayers are certainly going up for Lil Reese and for those close to him. One of the early contributors and leaders of Chicago’s Drill music scene, sad news comes about today as the rapper has reportedly been shot and is currently in critical condition.
His real name, Tavares Taylor, Lil Reese was identified as the man shot in Country Club Hills, Illinois on Monday, 11/11. According to reports, officers arrived to find “fresh blood” on the driver’s seat and on the pavement near the driver’s door. The rapper was reportedly assisted by another man and taken away from the scene and to a nearby hospital.
