It appears that Lil’ Kim’s “Plan B” remix is no longer available on streaming services. Hours after the song was posted online and promoted by Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex, a message appeared on YouTube.
“This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by [the] International Federation of the Phonographic Industry,” a message from YouTube states.
Neither Lil’ Kim nor Megan Thee Stallion has addressed the matter of yet. It is unclear if Lil’ Kim will attempt to re-release the track at a later date.
The now-removed “Plan B” remix was Lil’ Kim’s first major release of 2022. However, the New York legend was included on the 2022 Lovers & Friends lineup in Las Vegas, Nevada this summer. She also hosted the second annual B.I.G Gala in New York in May.
Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion is riding high following the release of her sophomore studio album, Traumazine. This year, she’s graced the stage at Coachella, appeared in Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney At Law and sat down for an interview with Hilary Clinton. As the fall nears, it’s unclear if she will hit the road for another tour due to her issues with her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment. While we wait to learn of her next move, check out the original “Plan B” track below.
