Throughout his three decade long career as an actor, writer, producer and director, Lee Daniels has been a part of every kind of film and television series you could imagine. From his time with Fox creating Empire and Star to his time directing Precious, Daniels has had the opportunity to flex his creative muscles. However, there’s one area that he hopes to dive into in the near future. Lee Daniels hopes to enter into the world of superheroes with his next film, Superb*tch.
In a recent video posted to Instagram, Daniels asked his fans, “Y’all remember maybe 10, 12 years ago I said my dream was to make a gay superhero film?” He then answered, “Dreams do come true. And I found my superhero. America, world, get ready.”

The tentative title for the film is Superb*tch, a fictional character created by Washington D.C. native, Dremon Cooper. Cooper also celebrated on Instagram with a caption that read, “I had the pleasure of meeting the one and only Lee Daniels. You’re an amazing man filled with great ideas. I can wait to work with you!”
Daniels is also believed to be working on the long rumored, Richard Pryor film.
