Actress Laura Harrier will reportedly fill a “major role” in the upcoming feature thriller, Lords of War.
Written and directed by Andrew Niccol, Lords of War will serve as a direct sequel to the 2005 film, Lord of War. Nicolas Cage will play the role of a “notorious gunrunner” named Yuri Orlov. Meanwhile, Bill Skarsgård will play the role of his son, Anton.
“Lords of War picks up the story of Yuri Orlov, the world’s most notorious gunrunner, watching as he discovers he has a son, Anton, who isn’t trying to right his father’s wrongs — he’s trying to top them,” an early description of the film reads.
“Not only selling guns but the ‘trigger pullers’ too, Anton is amassing a mercenary army to fight America’s Middle East conflicts. This is the story of Yuri and Anton’s bitter rivalry — even at odds over the same woman. Who will prevail when father and son go to war?”
At the moment, details regarding Harrier’s role are being kept under wraps. The model turned actress has remained active on the big screen since 2014. She’s appeared in several pictures, including Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Fahrenheit 451 and BlacKkKlansman. Most recently, she starred as Tatiana in Hulu’s White Men Can’t Jump.
