Ball, when he left high school, was the number seven prospect in the class of 2019 and was committed to UCLA. Ball is no longer eligible to play college basketball after signing a contract with his Lithuanian team. At this point in time, the decision was made to help Ball showcase his talents among his more talented peers for scouts for the 2020 draft. His play in the JBA was never going to show scouts anything as the talent level in the league is suspect. Watching his development and where he goes in his post-high school year will be interesting.
