Don’t call it a comeback! Well, on second thought, that’s just might what we will be calling it if things keep up. For the past year, Lady Gaga has found herself taking a backseat to being in the spotlight for her music and seeing high praises for everything else. Recently starring in FX’s “American Horror Story: Hotel,” the Golden Globe winner let her acting chops shine throughout the Fall and Winter seasons, but has now started the process of getting back to her love of music. As she currently works on her fifth studio album, and is already set to take the stage at this year’s Grammy Awards, things have only heated up more thanks to NFL’s recent announcement. At this year’s Super Bowl, Lady Gaga has been announced as this year’s National Anthem performer and will officially join the the likes of Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Backstreet Boys, Alicia Keys, and plenty of others who have held the honor. The recent announcement finds itself being another tally mark for Lady Gaga’s wins in 2016. If the past few weeks are anything to go back, the new music that will be attached to her new project will be just a monumental. With Coldplay, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars rocking the half-time show, there will be more than enough excitement to go around. Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7th at 6:30 P.M. at Levi’s Stadium.
