Problem’s entry into the industry was writing a verse for a producer & friend Terrace Martin to “Be thankful” which is featured on Snoop Dogg’s compilation album “The Big Squeeze“. The track garnered praise from artists such as Nas, Talib Kweli amongst others. Problem began recording records with Daz, Kurupt, Snoop Dogg, & Dj Quik. His first big break was when Snoop Dogg heard a record which was also produced by Terrace Martin, “Neva Hafta To Wurry About That” and went on to write three records on Snoop Dogg’s “Ego Trippin” LP.
Since then, Problem has worked with Jamie Foxx, Soulja Boy, Tha Dogg Pound, Jim Jones, The Game, E-40, Wiz Khalifa, Guru, Bobby Valentino, 9th Wonder, Teddy Riley, Murs, Chris Brown, Polow Da Don, Baron Davis, Nipsey Hussle, Warren G, Y.G., Mann, Dom Kennedy, Kendrick Lamar, Michael Corleone, Mike Epps, Katt Williams, DeeRay, Kenneth Crotch, Marlon Williams, Andrew Gouche, Pharrell Williams, Travis Barker, Dj Drama, Diggy Simmons, Tru Life, James FauntLeroy, 1500orNothin, Kanye West & John Legend are just some to mention.
The “Road To Plan B” video features unreleased songs “Let’s Fuck,” and “Carry On” with Schoolboy Q along with his “Welcome To Mollywood” tracks “Where Its At,” “T.O.” and latest radio hit “Last Love.” More infomation on Problem’s “Plan B” album releasing on Diamond Lane Music Group will be announced soon. Problem will also perform his hit record with E-40 “Function” on BET 106 AND PARK next week to air on May 9th.
