Kronic or DJ Kronic is back with a new record and by the name alone you should already know what time it is when you check out the official video for it below. ‘NRG’ is an uptempo record which is sure to want to make the ladies twerk like there is no tomorrow or at least that’s what I am hoping for.
The Lil Jon collaborator links up with Nikki Jean and Conkarah for this new record. Nikki Jean is someone who we all should be familiar with as she has been credited with work done with Lupe Fiasco on his ‘Hip Hop Saved My Life’ project. Conkarah is a rising Jamaican superstar who is most recognized right now for his cover to Adele’s “Hello” which was last reported as being # 5 on Spotify‘s Global Viral Chart.
‘NRG’ serves as the first single off of Kronic’s upcoming “Sophisticated Ignorance” EP and is looking to be released this year. With Kronic breaking out in 2015 with his record ‘Feel That’, ‘NRG’ is definitely a suitable successor to the record that earned him the honor of having the #1 Beatport record. Not to mention the collaborations with Lil Jon as mentioned before but he contributed to Savage & Far East Movement. After gracing televisions across Austrailia with MTV, look for more things to come from Kronic as he looks to further expand his career.
