The first battle to be released off of King of the Dot’s nostalgic series, “Back to Basics” and the main event of the evening was between two giants, TheSaurus vs Rone. The event went down on April 18th at the House of Gods in Los Angeles.
The stage is set for KOTD to capture its first motion picture between the timeless style that has been perfected by each battler. Breaking down your opponent with Jokes, wordplay, and bars may sound easy but these two do it at levels that most battlers dream of getting two.
The Saurus, seen as the grandmaster, continues to put on show after show for fans all around world. Having over 100 battles logged in online, he just continues to get better with time like fine wine (Bars!)
Rone, the successor, has been torching the battle scene lately with a fresher voice, revamping the style The Saurus grandfathered. Nothing short of respect throughout the battle but just know they came to take each others head off. Still scorching from his last bout with BigT, here’s Rone with a crazy innovative scheme.
By the looks of this battle, Back to Basics was way more than just a success. KOTD is set to throw part 2 on June 27th, at the House of Gods again so I advise you to get your tickets. You can purchase them here.
Earlier in the week, King of the Dot released their release schedule for the event:
