Kodak Black reportedly denied bond in weapons case garnering federal and state charges.
Arrested early May during Rolling Loud Miami 2019 weekend, Kodak Black remains behind bars. Complex reports the rapper’s bond was set at $500,000 and he will remain in jail for at least another week.
Legal name Bill Kapri, Kodak Black’s lawyer, Michael P. McManus appealed the decision, proposing 24-hour supervision on bond instead of another week behind bars.
“My company is willing and able to escort and transport him back to the Southern District of Florida should the State of South Carolina subsequently release Mr. Kapri for home confinement within the Southern District of Florida pursuant to pre-trial release ordered by this court,” says McManus according to Complex.
Kodak Black being denied bond reportedly stems from his alleged assault of a teenage girl which the judge cited as reasoning to keep him behind bars.
