Kevin Garnett has retired from playing professional basketball but that doesn’t mean he’s staying away from the sport entirely. When he’s not busy working on his segment for Inside the NBA on TNT, the big man is visiting teams during practice.
That’s what KG did on Tuesday, as he worked with several players (notably Giannis Antetokounmpo, the rookie Thon Maker, and the injured Khris Middleton) from the Milwaukee Bucks.
This was the second time Garnett was caught visiting a team as he previously worked with the Los Angeles Clippers.
KG notably spoke to Giannis about adding countermoves to his arsenal, something that the young star is still missing in his game.
Giannis mentioned that KG talked to him about countermoves. Looks like they're talking about a counter to his "go-to" spin move here. pic.twitter.com/pIzIf6PSmz

It appears that Giannis took kindly to KG’s wisdom and is using the advice to get better.

It’s a scary thought for 29 other teams that The Greek Freak is learning from a 21-year vet in Kevin Garnett. While they play different styles, their per 100 possessions numbers through their first four years are eerily similar.
Now imagine Giannis learning from that player who sustained brilliant play for the better part of 21 years. That’s a scary thought indeed.
