Summer is starting early! Aminé and Kaytranada have teamed up to unveil the artwork and release date for their joint album, Kaytraminé. Set to be released on May 19, the project will include contributions from Freddie Gibbs, Snoop Dogg, Big Sean and Amaarae. Not to be forgotten, the album’s lead single, “4Eva,” features Pharrell Williams.
“This is big news,” Brooklyn-based artist Soulyhad commented.
“Album of the summer,” another fan added.
Both artists come together after picking their select spots throughout 2022. Kaytranada rode along with The Weeknd during the “After Hours Til Dawn” Tour and released a project with IDK called Simple. Meanwhile, Aminé traveled out to Australia and New Zealand for his set of live shows. About a month ago, the two popped back up on the scene with the aforementioned single, “4Eva” featuring Pharrell. More recently, the duo was spotted in New York following the Met Gala premiering new music. In about nine days, the whole world will have the CDQ version of the track, but until then, here’s what they have been previewing.
