The Chicago rapper is not the only A-lister set to take the digital stage. Both Mariah Carey and Tyler Perry will use their talents to offer encouragement to viewers. According to TMZ, Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston will stream its holiday service and include the aforementioned talents.
Mariah Carey is set to perform her song “Hero” in support of medical professionals and first responders amid the coronavirus pandemic. Kanye West and his Sunday Service choir will perform from Los Angeles. Tyler Perry will use his oratory skills to deliver a hopeful message to the congregation and other viewers tuned in.
Kanye West and Joel Osteen planned multiple services across the country on a ‘Sunday Service Tour.‘ The plans for a May event at Yankee Stadium have been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. The “Good Life” rapper also donated to local food banks in Los Angeles to support the community affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
