
Despite pushing back previous albums time and time again, it appears that Kanye West is prepare to deliver his highly-anticipated album, Donda II, on February 22, 2022. Days before the project’s release, the Chicago native shared a tentative track list for the album via Instagram. Spread out across a notepad, West suggested that the album will include 21 tracks, but he did not indicate who would be featured on the album. However, he has been spotted in the studio with the likes of Fivio Foreign, Moneybagg Yo and even Antonio Brown recently.
Kanye West appears determined to release Donda II on February 22, but he will not share his work with major streaming platforms like Spotify, TIDAL, Apple Music, etc. Instead, he plans to distribute his upcoming album through his platform, Stem Player. Furthermore, it appears that it would cost fans upwards of $150 to listen to the project on the platform. Despite push back from fans and critics, West is committed to sharing his music through Stem Player.
“We did it! [It doesn’t] matter what happens [tomorrow] This happened tonight. For the first time in a long time, I feel alive. We did it, kid. We did [it], lord! Lift me up! Things change. Let’s keep it burning,” he wrote on Instagram after sharing his release day strategy.
