West Coast rapper Kamaiyah shares the details for her upcoming album “Got It Made.”
It has been a while since Kamaiyah emerged on the scene with her debut mixtape A Good Night In The Ghetto in 2016. The project introduced Kamaiyah to a larger audience who were gifted a follow-up mixtape Before I Wake in 2017. Since then, Kamaiyah has remained relatively quiet, dropping of vocals on other artists’ tracks and appearing in music videos.
Now, Kamaiyah kicks off the new decade with long-awaited new music. She ecstatically announces the new project on social media. Got It Made officially drops on February 21, 2020.
” After almost 4 years I present to you my project “ Got It Made “ 2•21•20 the wait is over we going up and this mutha fucka slap…” writes the Oakland artist on Twitter.
The 10-track project features Trina, J. Espinosa, and Capolow. On the album cover, Kamaiyah sports a bright-colored track-suit with her signature retro flare. Holding an umbrella with panels decorated with designer monograms, Kamaiyah forecasts a storm of high-end rhymes. \
