Screen Junkies have been putting together ‘Honest Trailers’ for years now. Most of the time they’re amusing, but sometimes they cross the line into sheer hilarity. Justice League falls into the latter half of that statement. The commentary and jokes are A1, with solid references to mustache-gate and the never-ending Batfleck saga.
The fact that we have to even roast a movie that features the Justice League AFTER the success of Wonder Woman shows just how much work DC still has to do. Their characters are too good and rich for them to be continuing to drop films that deserve to slum it with the likes of ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ in superhero film jail.
We’ve attached the ‘Honest Trailer’ and official synopsis below.
‘Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.’ Via Warner Brothers
