With the ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ trailer set to drop later today (more than likely during TNF) we’ve been treated to yet another piece of build up content. This small behind the scenes featurette is the best piece of footage we’ve seen yet. It explores the care and degrees of complexity that goes into making one of these films. From the looks of the featurette, it seems as if they are returning to more of the practical effects that made the first ‘Jurassic Park’ such an important part of cinematic history. The animatronics simply look and feel more realistic than the cold, CGI heavy effects that could be found in both ‘Jurassic Park 3’ and ‘Jurassic World‘. While Jurassic World was certainly the best film in the franchise since the original installment, you could tell that it filmmakers truly viewed it as a launching pad to reinvigorate the series and from what we’ve seen so far from ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ they were wise to handle it in that way.
We’ve attached the new behind the scenes featurette below, and stay tuned for more coverage of ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ as new stories develop.
