Golden State Warriors center Jordan Bell has been suspended, as announced in a press release. Bell is being suspended for one game due to “conduct detrimental to the team”, which will be served during the Warriors’ Wednesday night matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies.

It’s currently unknown what exactly constitutes the conduct that landed Jordan Bell his suspension, but it’s likely not an incident that will further entice either party to agree to a new deal as Bell enters into restricted free agency this summer.
The one-game suspension will cost Jordan Bell $9,505. The Warriors will not receive a tax credit because the fine was team issued. Bell is a restricted free agent this summer.

Bell’s role with the Warriors hasn’t been very substantial this season, averaging 3.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in 11.4 minutes per game in 61 appearances for Golden State this season. Bell hasn’t received much more of an opportunity in his sophomore campaign, with the Warriors adding star center DeMarcus Cousins during the offseason, as well as picking up reigning National Basketball League Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year Andrew Bogut earlier this month.
