With the summer of 2016 right around the corner, Kevin Durant is about to become one of the most coveted free agents of all time. When his contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder runs out, he will hear pitches from so many teams around the league, including his hometown Washington Wizards.
Current Wizards star point guard John Wall believes DC is a very likely spot Durant could look to move to if his time in OKC is done after the 2016 season. One thing is for sure, if the Thunder star chooses to go home, Washington would become an instant favorite to win the title.

“Yeah, I think so,” Wall said Tuesday in Las Vegas when asked if Washington will be an attractive landing spot for Durant. “I think we’re one of those teams on the rise. You look at free agency, a lot of people want to come and play for us. The main thing is it’s going to be his decision. You got to sit back and let him make the best decision for him and his family. All we can do is sit back and just try to focus on us. Try to win as much as we can and if that can attract him to come play with us then so be it.”
Washington was proven to be a very attractive free agent destination this offseason when they upgraded their bench by adding Gary Neal and Alan Anderson. Adding KD to this already amazing roster would rock the Verizon Center and ignite a fire in this city to do whatever they can to help the Wizards win a title.
