The Made In America lineup has expanded just a bit. On Wednesday afternoon, the music festival announced that J.I.D would be taking the stage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during Labor Day Weekend. The Dreamville recording artist will join a lineup that already includes Bad Bunny, Burna Boy and Tyler, The Creator. Not to mention, hometown stars Jazmine Sullivan and Lil’ Uzi Vert will also be taking the stage.
“Thank you for having us again, Made In America! I’m excited for this one,” he wrote
J.I.D is no stranger to the festival stage. This year, he has appeared at Something In The Water, Coachella and the Dreamville Festival in North Carolina. In the midst of all that, he has found time to work with the Imagine Dragons, hop on Dreamville’s Gangsta Grillz project and much more.
J.I.D also joins the Made In America lineup just in time for the release of his debut studio LP, The Forever Story. Set to arrive on August 26, the project will include contributions from Kenny Mason, Earthgang, Lil’ Wayne, Lil’ Durk, 21 Savage, Ari Lennox and several others. The project will also feature production from Kaytranada, Thundercat, James Blake and many others.
The Forever Story will find its way onto streaming services this weekend. Before it arrives, check out the Made In America lineup below and plan accordingly.
