Scrubb was a participant in the Team USA Under-19 FIBA World Cup and has been regarded as one of the best JUCO player prospects in years. The Louisville native is an instant impact player for the Cardinals and will join high school teammate David Johnson on the Cardinal roster. Coach Chris Mack is gaining an ultra-athletic and crafty player that has the ability to be a lockdown defender. One thing to keep an eye on is that he’ll be eligible for the 2020 NBA Draft after his sophomore campaign at John Logan. He’s been listed in a few NBA mock drafts as a second-rounder.
Scrubb is the first player to commit to the Cardinals for the 2020 season. Lousiville is hoping to land a few more commitments after the Louisville Live event.
