Jacquees is preparing to make a comeback this summer and he’s not doing it alone. During a recent appearance on FOX 5 Atlanta’s Good Day Atlanta, the Georgia native revealed that his next LP will be released this summer and it will be produced by Future.
“My new album drops summer of 2022 and it’s executive produced by Future,” he said.
Future is not new to the world of R&B. Over the years, he’s worked with Kelly Rowland, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Jeremiah, Tamar Braxton and Tinashe among others. He also has production credits on “Drunk In Love” by Beyoncé and “Body Party” by Ciara. While Future does not have prior experience executive producing an entire R&B album, he is far from a newcomer in the genre.
As for Jacquees, he is looking to top his sophomore album, King of R&B. The 2019 LP featured Summer Walker, TK Kravitz, Lil’ Baby, Gunna, Young Thug and of course, Future. Despite receiving solid reviews from fans and critics alike, it failed to crack the top ten of the Billboard 200 chart during its first week.
Together, Jacquees and Future will look to make R&B magic for the summer.
