The NBA may be taking a day off from the hardwood, but reigning NBA Finals MVP Steph Curry is still hard at work. The 2022 NBA Champion is fresh off of a 47-point performance as he takes part in the latest edition of the #iVOTED Festival. Back after a successful launch in 2020, the “largest digital concert in history” is back with a new set of public figures encouraging citizens to get out and exercise their civic right.
The 2022 #iVOTED Festival will kick off at 4 p.m. EST with a variety of virtual performances hosted by Live Nation, Music Midtown, Girls Rock, HeadCount and several other organizations. The wide variety of performances will be accompanied by an election night webcast hosted by W. Kamau Bell and Tom Morello. Throughout the night, Bell and Morello will be joined by Steph Curry, Billie Eilish, Taylor Bennett and several others. Run The Jewels will also stop by to deliver a special performance.
“Our team has been working on this event since January. We’re ecstatic to see it not only come to fruition but that fans have already been RSVP-ing by entering our first-ever #iVoted Early Sweepstakes. This gives them the opportunity to win tickets to 600 Live Nation, AEG Presents, ASM Global and independent shows, an #iVoted Gibson Guitar, 666 cans of Liquid Death and more,” #iVOTED Festival Founder Emily White said.
“As all entries are RSVP’d for #iVoted Festival’s 2022 webcast, this ensures we’re getting folks to turnout and vote as early as possible. We are eternally grateful to our stage and sweepstakes partners’ generosity, time, effort, and passion for increasing voter turnout.”
