Ice Cube reveals a script for a new Friday film is complete and he hopes to begin production soon.
The multihyphenate Hollywood talent guest starred on ESPN’s The Jump where he discussed developing the film with the show’s hosts. He shared the script for the final franchise film is complete and he hopes to release the project on the 25th anniversary of the original Friday debut.
“We finished the script, we are getting notes from the studio and it’s going back and forth. Get into pre-production and start hiring. It would be nice for this to come out on the 25th anniversary,” says Ice Cube.

Upon release, the Last Friday film would close the Friday series. The first film Friday debuted April 26, 1995. The most recently released installment Friday After Next came November 22, 2002.
