Thirty-eight public figures will be added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. Next year, the recording category will add George Clinton, Ashanti, Nipsey Hussle, DJ Khaled, Black Eyed Peas and Avril Lavigne to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Alongside Nipsey Hussle and George Clinton, the motion picture category will add Michael B. Jordan, Regina King, Tessa Thompson and Jason Mamoa. Rounding out this class, Michael Strahan, Tracee Ellis Ross, Byron Allen and Kenan Thompson will be featured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“The Selection Panel, made up of fellow Walk of Famers, hand-picks a group of honorees each year that represent various genres of the entertainment world,” Hollywood Walk Of Fame Chair Ellen K said.
“The Panel did an amazing job choosing these very talented people. We can’t wait to see each honoree’s reaction as they realize that they are becoming a part of Hollywood’s history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous walkway.”
