
Producer Hitmaka faces allegations of pistol-whipping his girlfriend who needed stitches for her injuries.
Hitmaka, formerly known as the artist Yung Berg, legally known as Christian Ward may be looking at criminal charges. According to The Blast, Hitmaka and his girlfriend had a verbal disagreement that turned physical. The woman reported to the Los Angeles Police Department that the assault took place on Saturday, March 14, in the early morning hours.
The alleged victim was issued an emergency protective order with the option of filing a full restraining order. Hitmaka is prohibited from coming within 100 yards of the woman, contacting her or being near her home, until at least March 20, 2020, when the emergency protective order expires.
The victim was reportedly hospitalized at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles where she was diagnosed with a “closed head injury, closed fracture of the nasal bone, and facial lacerations” according to The Blast. One of her injuries allegedly required stitches.
Hitmaka has not released a statement on the alleged assault. The Grammy-nominated producer recently issued a call for new talent.
