Universal Pictures has announced that they will be rolling out two new installments of the Halloween franchise in the coming years.
The movie studio first made the announcement on Friday. First, Universal will roll out Halloween Kills on October 16, 2020. Nearly a year to the day later, Universal will debut Halloween Ends on October 15, 2021.
Jamie Lee Curtis will star in both films and David Gordon Green will direct both films. Nick Castle will also return as Michael Meyers. Behind the scenes, Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block will act as producers. Not to mention, the franchise originator, John Carpenter, will return for the 11th Halloween film as an executive producer.
The Green and Curtis duo previously worked together on the 2018 installment of the horror franchise. Together, they helped create the highest grossing film in the Halloween universe with $250 million.
Currently, there is no word on the plot of either film or additional cast members.
