Netflix is no stranger to delivering top-tier documentaries about the music fans love and the wild industry that creates it. In the past, the streaming platform has unveiled documentaries about Beyoncé’s iconic Coachella performance, Kanye West’s rise to stardom and the untimely death of Sam Cooke. Now, the streaming giant will shift its focus to an iconic performer from The Big Apple — Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
Global superstar Jennifer Lopez reflects on her multifaceted career and the pressure of life in the spotlight in this intimate documentary,” the documentary’s description reads.
“HALFTIME offers an intimate peek behind the curtain revealing the grit and determination that makes Jennifer Lopez. The film serves as the kickoff to the second half of her life, as she lays bare her evolution as a Latina, a mother, and an artist, taking agency in her career and using her voice for a greater purpose.”
