Gucci Mane announces new album Delusions Of Grandeur drops June 21 after teasing a new project to fans.
With a music catalog large enough to span three rap careers, Gucci Mane shows zero signs of slowing down. The recently rehabilitated rapper continues his decade-old habits of dropping off new music. Whether free or behind bars, Gucci Mane always delivers. Now a no longer in prison, the married rapper lives a healthy, sober lifestyle yet this does not stop the music.
The new album Delusions of Grandeur abbreviated D.O.G by Gucci Mane on Instagram marks his first full-length release of 2019. By definition, delusions of grandeur are false beliefs in one’s own superiority or greatness.
Gucci Mane’s newer music features the bass-driven beats and Atlanta trap flair he’s known for. The lyrics portray his past lifestyle and offer his newly overturned leaf as an example of redemption. His physical aesthetic has also changed from a gut and plain white tees to designer duds and a six-pack.
Recently, Gucci Mane and Meek Mill teamed up to deliver Backwards. The Atlanta rapper linked up with Kenny Beats for Proud Of You, the official single from the album.
